STOCKINGFORD COMMUNITY CENTRE - A place to be and enjoy!

Craft Club
Members of the Craft Club meet on Monday mornings between 10.00 - 12.00. Everyone is welcome to come along and make cards of all sizes and descriptions, using all sorts of techniques including stamping, decoupage, card and box making.  Beginners most welcome, in fact card makers at any level are invited to join in. The more arty you are, the more you could share your skills with the group if you liked. All the materials are supplied, and for £2 per session, including tea, biscuits and a chat, it's a lovely morning to spend at the centre.
Just drop in to see Dot or Jean and see if this group is for you.
10.00 - 12.00

At their last Christmas Party one of the Craft Club members wrote a festive poem for the Craft Club members and others to hear:

Here we are again
At our Christmas do
With the lovely ladies
The card club crew.

We meet every Monday
Armed with paper and glit
To create our lovely cards
With coffee and a bic.

When the time is over
We say our good byes cheerio
To meet again next week
Were always on the go.

Now Christmas time is here
We have a bit of fun
With wine and lovely goodies
But where's the bloody rum?

We like to thank Jean and Dot
For giving us their time
Well it helps me to do this
To create my rhyme

So let's say a Merry Christmas
And wish you all good cheer
For a Happy Christmas
And a fabulous New Year
