I am a friendly lady with a passion for sewing who would like to teach others.  I am recently retired and am keen to share my life-long love of sewing. I am self taught with my sewing skills from the age of 11. I make most of my own clothes especially my dance clothes. I quilt and appliqué

I run group classes or solo private sewing sessions. Ranging from complete beginners to the more advanced.

Learn how to use your machine and over lock, learn the basic and the variations, the 'know how's', learn how to follow a pattern, patchwork and quilting, appliqué, bears and bags. Learn how to make clothes or home accessories.

Sessions will be fun, no previous knowledge is needed and will be suitable for beginners and those that wish to further their sewing knowledge. We will go through everything together one step at a time.

 I can suggest the equipment you'll need. If you have your own sewing machine that's great and means I can free up the limited sewing machines I have for those that need to use them.

It is very important you book your place in the lessons as spaces are limited and more spaces if you bring your own machine. The option of private sessions at yours or mine can be arranged.

I have full public liability and insurance.
